We
are holding an art materials show, the Rochester Art Supply Trade Show
2010 this November 4th. Only a few weeks away, we are still trying to
increase the buzz for the event. The Trade Show will feature an entire
showroom of artist materials.
For
the showroom, representatives will be answering any product questions
attendees have. The products will be on sale with special discounted
pricing (valid at the show only) so attendees are going to want to
splurge! There will be several
informative product presentations held throughout the day as well.
Fortunately, many artists have already reserved their spots and we
appreciate your enthusiasm! However, we do still have seats available
in many of our seminars including Winsor & Newton's Acrylic
seminar, our Enkaustikos encaustic demonstrations, and our Michael
Harding Oils presentation. If you plan on attending the trade show,
you should definitely check out our presentation schedule to see if any interest you. Register by calling us at (800) 836 - 8940.
Also, don't forget to register for our Guest Speaker and Social Hour. Isabelle Roché of Henri Roché
Pastels will be in town for the show, flying from Paris, France!
Isabelle will be giving a unique talk on her family's renowned pastel
company and will help shed light on what makes these pastels so
unique. The last time she spoke at a US conference, she managed to
bring her audience to tears. This is one event, pastelists do not want
to miss out on. Registration is required. The presentation will even
follow with a fun social hour featuring jazz music by local duo, Reilly
Taylor-Cook and Hershel Mikel. Attendees, please plan to stay
afterwards to help us celebrate Isabelle's trip to Rochester!
The Trade Show doors open at 10am and the showroom will be open to the public until 5pm. The special Roché
presentation begins at 6pm and the social hour will start immediately
afterwards from 7pm-8pm. Please join us for this wonderful artist
event! You will have a great time at our product presentations and are
sure to score amazing deals on your favorite art materials. Plus, we
will even be doing an hourly raffle drawing so make a day of it. Those
traveling from out of town can book a night at Rochester Plaza Hotel
and Conference Center for just $60 a night if they mention they are
attending the show.
