Art Supply is organizing a trade show at the High Falls Fine Art
Gallery on November 4th called the Rochester Art Supply Trade Show
2010! Doors open at 10am with free admission to the public! This is
one event that area artists do not want to miss out on...
On the trade show floor...we will have product booths
set up throughout the gallery so that artists can learn more about
their favorite products and of course, take advantage of our special trade show discounted pricing!
We will feature products like, Art Alternative Canvas, Winsor &
Newton Acrylics, M. Graham Oils Colors, and Pebeo Fragonard Artist Oil
Colors. Company representatives will be on hand to answer questions
and demo products if applicable.
We also have several product presentations and seminars
going on throughout the day! Learn about Michael Harding oils,
Enkaustikos encaustic paints, Japanese Paper Place papers, Charbonnel
aqua wash printmaking inks, and Sennelier oil colors. Winsor &
Newton are even doing a 2-hour long seminar on their artist acrylics
and one on their watercolours! All presentations do require
registration as seating is limited so if they sound of interest to you,
register early!
And of course, our featured event...Isabelle Roche from Henri Roche Pastels will be speaking!
Isabelle will be flying from Paris, France to our Trade Show to speak
with pastel fans. She will be giving a wonderful presentation on the
unique history of Henri Roche Pastels and will shed light on what makes
these exquisite pastels so different from other brands! Roche Pastels
were in fact the chosen pastel of pastelists, Degas, Whistler, and
Sisley. Handmade since 1720, these pastels are considered one the best
kept secrets of the pastel world. The presentation will follow with a Meet and Greet
with Isabelle! This is a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity for pastels
to learn about the Roche line. Be sure to register for this event as
there is reserved seating only and space is limited.
