Here at Rochester Art Supply everyone is bustling around. Tomorrow
is the big Rochester Art Supply Trade Show 2010 so tons of product racks
are being moved over to the High Falls Gallery for the event's
showroom. We are printing out last-minute sales labels, creating name
tags, and renting so many chairs and tables that we can barely count.
We are very excited for tomorrow but don't know what to expect
attendance-wise as this is our first year holding the show! We are
optimistic though and expect most of the presentations to have at least
30-40 attendees according to registration numbers. Three different
classrooms will be used for the presentations so we are setting each
room up accordingly.
Isabelle Roche, from Henri Roche Pastels,
just arrived last night from Paris, France. She had a pleasant flight
and is anticipating tomorrow's presentation. She is preparing to use a
projector in her talk as we'll have to do plenty of additional
preparation to do for that featured event as well. We figure up to 75
people will be able to attend this presentation as it will be held in
the main gallery room at 6 pm after the product booths are taken down.
We've
sure done some marketing over the past few weeks and we are thrilled to
announce that last Sunday we received press coverage on the front page
of the Democrat and Chronicle's living section. A great surprise to
start off the week of prepping and fortunately, did attract a few more
artists. Gotta love free PR!
If you're planning on attending,
don't forget that you can stay at Rochester Plaza Hotel and Conference
Center for just $60 a night if you mention the show. We hope to see you
there and have a great trip to Rochester. It should be a fun day
tomorrow. wish us good luck!Tags:
