Have you ever wondered how pastels are made or where they came from?  Well, fortunately for those in the Rochester area they have a unique opportunity coming up where they can learn just that!

In early October, the owner of Mt. Vision Pastels, Karl Kelly, will be visiting our retail store in Rochester to give a free presentation.  Karl Kelly will describe how pastels are made, tell you how to make your own, and answer any questions you may have about the field.  In fact, Mt. Vision Pastels was originally founded in Upstate New York but now calls Tampa, Florida home so therefore, Kelly will even explain how the different areas influenced the color lines of Mount Vision pastels.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn more about the medium as well as the specific color line.  If you are in the area or at least in a short distance to Rochester, make sure you leave your calendar open!

The Presentation will be held on Thursday, October 9th from 6:30-8:00 p.m.  Free admission and free parking is available.  Make sure to plan ahead and if you hope to attend, please call us to reserve your spot as space is limited!  (800) 836-8940
