Prismacolor Has New Packaging for Scholar Pencil Line
The same, strong pencils you remember,  but with a bold, new look!

Prismacolor Scholar Pencils are specially formulated to provide for a smooth laydown and blendability, however they are made to different specifications to deliver a harder lead and are more resistant to breakage when used by the developing artist. And now they are available in a clear plastic package that doubles as a stand!

Prismacolor released the new packaging in 2011, after 30 years of using the classic red and gold box. This new packaging works well with their other lines and, more importantly, allows for easy viewing of the colors in each set.
